Editorial policy

We only publish information we can attribute to an identifiable source. Anything not officially announced is labeled “Not officially announced yet” — never estimated or made up.

Updated

How we verify

  1. Official sources come first: the park’s and operator’s websites and profiles, and public bodies.
  2. Next, established news outlets, cited with article and date. For Brazilian parks, most are in Portuguese.
  3. Encyclopedias support, but are never the only source for a new fact.
  4. When sources disagree, we say so in the text.
  5. Rumors are presented as rumors, with their status made explicit.

Publication and update dates

Each page shows the date it was genuinely last updated. We never change a date without reviewing the content. News stories also show the date of the underlying event when it differs.

Corrections

Spotted a mistake? Tell us via our contact page. We fix it in every published language and update the page date.

Languages

We publish in Portuguese, English and Spanish. A page only goes live in a language once that version is complete and reviewed; we never show Portuguese text on English pages.

Use of tools

We may use software tools, including AI, for research and drafting. Every published fact is checked against the listed sources before publication.
